I grew up in Richmond, Virginia. I’ve lived in New York for 11 years, and spent the last 3 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, with my husband and two children.
I love exploring the intersection of language and emotion. I seek to write fun, engaging poetry that helps our youngest emerging readers learn how to be inclusive, kind and a little silly.
